David Lefebvre

Born in 1980, Vernon (Eure, Haute-Normandie, France), lives and works in Grenoble, France. Represented by Galerie Zürcher, Paris – New York His studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Grenoble. He play between figuration and abstraction, between smeared touch and geometric touch, between visible and invisible. In the age of 2.0 and its flow of images, his studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Grenoble familiarized him with “new technologies”, installation and performance.

However, this did not distract him from drawing and painting. From 2007 to 2012 he took part in the collective adventure of the “Oui” Art Center in Grenoble. In 2007 he participated in the Pilot3 project off the Venice Biennale on a proposal by Inge Lidner-Gaillard, then curator at the Le Magasin Art Center (Grenoble).
